Verlie Mooney Brown, 86, of Madison died May 2, 1999, at home after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of Dan-ville Church of Christ.
Surviving: sons, Harlan R. of Portland, Ohio, Harold W. of Madison; daughters, Lorena Gore of Quinland, Charlotte Rowe of Madison, Loretta Haddad and Patricia Klapper, both of Charleston; 21 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Danville Church of Christ with Minister Charlie Gorman officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Madison. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home
