Drury Bolling was the son of Colonel Robert Bolling (1646-1709) and his 2nd wife Anne Stith(1660-1711). He was raised at the family home, Kippax and inherited the plantation at his father’s death in 1709 and lived there until his death in 1726. Presumably he is buried on the property as his wife “lived in the house until it became the property of Theodorick Bland through his marriage to Drury Bolling’s daughter Frances. “
Drury Bollling and Elizabeth Meriwether had only one child, Frances Bolling b. 1721 d. 1774 married to Theodorick Bland Sr in 1740 and eventually their grandson Theodorick Bland Jr. inherited Kippax.
