Mrs. Nettie Keenan Dies in 78th Year; Rites on Wednesday.

Angelica - Mrs. Nettie M. Keenan, 77, widow of Fred Keenan died yesterday following a long illness.

She was born here Oct. 13, 1883 the daughter of Reuben and Louise (Seller sic) (Felles) Hills.

surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter Britton of Angelica; a son, Walter H. of Wayland; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Haggstrom, Angelica and Mrs. Earl Rickard, Tampa, Fla., six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at the Wolcott Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Clark Gilmore, of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Angelica Cemetery.

WAYLAND - Walter H. (Tony) Keenan, 60, of 201 N. Main St., Wayland, died unexpectedly at Dansville Memorial Hospital Tuesday (Aug. 20,1968).

He was a native of Angelica and had lived in Wayland for the past 35 years. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the navy. At the time of his death, he was employed with F. W. Wittig and Son of Wayland.

He is survived by his widow, Susan O'Day Keenan; one son, David, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Susan Zimmerman of Albuquerque, N. M., and Mrs. Alice Young of Dansville; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Britton of Angelica, and five granddaughters.

Friends may call at Baird Funeral Home at Wayland from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Leicester.
