Services for Hazel G. Rosenaw 96 were held Saturday Sept 15, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Wecota. Pastor Gregory Hinners officiated and burial was in the Faulkton Cemetery. She passed away Wednesday Sept 12, 2007 at the Redfield Community Hospital
Hazel Gwendoln Emm was born Feb 20, 1911 to Charles Emm and Dorothy Hayes at Streator,Ill. She completed her education at Streator before leaving school to care for her younger brothers and sisters following the death of her Father.
She had four children from her first marriage: Ina (Marvin) Holsing Aberdeen,Darlene (Norman)Gullickson of Mankato,Minn,Charles Hill and Richard Hill.
On June 28, 1941 she married Albert Boyd Rosenaw of Cresbard the couple had two children Marian (Gerald) Armstrong and Carol (Paul) Ekse.
She will be remembered for starting the hot lunch program at the Cresbard School and later for many years of Food service at the John P. Shirk Nursing Home in Faulkton
Pallbearers were Mike Gullickson,Scott Armstrong,Gary Gullickson,Rick Rausch,Mark Ekse and Michael Radway.
Schrivers Memorial Mortuary Aberdeen was in charge of arrangements
