Services for Henry G. Barnes, 84, R.D. 6, Fulton, who died Tuesday, April 4 at an area nursing home after an illness of several months, were held Friday at Young and Son Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery. Born in the Town of Volney, he was a life resident of the area. He was employed by the City of Fulton Department of Public Works for many years as a heavy equipment operator. He retired in 1960. An Army veteran of World War I, he served in France. Surviving are four stepdaughters, Mrs. Raymond Guyer, Mrs. Sarah Patrick and Mrs. Thomas Patane, all of Fulton, and Mrs. Mildred Hart of Tampa, Fla. five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Loomis, Volney, Mrs. Mae Askew, Oswego, Mrs. Mildred Lawrence, Central Square, Mrs. Frederick Heer, Fulton and Mrs. Doris Muckey, Palermo; and two brothers, Osa of Florida and Floyd of Missouri.
