Mrs. Jane Phinney, 57, of 359 S. Fifth St., died Friday morning at Lee Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months.
Born in the Town of Volney, Mrs. Phinney had been a life resident of this area. She was a communicant of the church of the Immaculate Conception.
Surviving besides her husband, Fred Phinney, are two daughters , Mrs. Timothy Flood, RD 4, and Mrs. William Wardhaugh, Fulton; two sons, MSgt. Teddy Martin of the U.S. Air Force, and Henry Martin Jr. of the State of Minnest a ; two stepdaughters , Mrs. Louis Dziedzic and Mrs. Edward Stevens, both of Auburn; two step-sons, William Phinney of Phoenix, RD 1, and Frederick Phinney of Redwood, Calif.; several grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Guy Loomis, Mrs. Paul Heer, Mrs. Harold Muckey Jr., all of RD 4, Mrs. May Askew of Oswegc and Mrs. Walter Lawrence of Central Square; three brothers, Henry Barnes of Fulton, OSA Barnes of Syracuse and Floyd Barnes of Southgate, Calif, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday in Young & Son Funeral Home and at 9:00 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be at Black River.
