Obituary - It is with joy and rejoicing that we announce the reunion of Peggy Jean Pitcher Miles with her beloved husband, Farrel T. Miles, as she passed from mortality to immortality on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, in Mesa, Arizona. We, their posterity, are eternally grateful for their undying devotion to each other, to their family and to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Peggy Jean Pitcher was born on May 7, 1927 in Cornish, Cache, Utah to Willie DeConn and Rosie (Pooley) Pitcher. Peggy married Farrel Miles, her childhood sweetheart, August 16, 1945 in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Utah.

Peggy and Farrel moved to Southern California in 1950 where they lived for over 54 years, residing at various times in the cities of Hollywood, Northridge and Chatsworth. They both served in leadership capacities within their wards and stakes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They also lovingly served their handicapped son, Kevin, for more than 53 years.

After Farrel passed away on June 11, 2004, Peggy and Kevin moved to Mesa, Arizona where she purchased a home in the community of Leisure World. Peggy suffered a stroke in June 2005, from which she was working hard to recover, when she suffered another stroke Monday, November 21, 2005 and passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2005.

In addition to her family, listed below, Peggy is survived by two brothers, Bill Pitcher of Benson, Utah and Bruce Pitcher of Eugene, Oregon, along with numerous other relatives.
