Dorris was born Saturday, October 31, 1936, in Harrisburg, PA, daughter of the late Earrnest Slaughter and the late Lucretia Phillips Slaughter. She was the widow of David E. Conway.
A graduate of John Harris High School, she was formerly employed as a Commonwealth of PA, Day Care Provider. As evidence of her Christian faith, Dorris was united in fellowship with Life Center Ministries, Harrisburg. Her pastimes included reading, traveling, shopping, listening to music and watching TV.
At seventy-eight years of age, on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, Dorris made her transformation into life eternal. She leaves to lovingly remember and cherish many special memories three sons, David F. Conway (Renee) of Jackson, GA, Rodney E. Conway (Apryle) of Morrow, GA, and Keith B. Conway of Harrisburg; one daughter, Stephany Rudy of Harrisburg; an adopted daughter, Jennean Murphy of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
