Ernest P. Slaughter
Ernest P. Slaughter, 55, died Thursday at his home, 134 Linden street.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Lawson, Miss Jessie Maleace Slaughter, Miss Alma May Slaughter and Miss Doris Jean Slaughter, all of Harrisburg;

four sons, Earnest(sic) Philip Slaughter and Luther Slaughter, both of Harrisburg; First Sgt. John S. Slaughter, Virginia, and Sgt. Earl Hunter Slaughter, Germany;

two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Rixeyville, Va. and Mrs. Catherine Gray, Rochester, N.Y.;

a brother, Edward, Boston, Va., and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., at the Hooper funeral home, 604 Forster street, the Rev. Amos Clark, Zion Primitive Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in William Howard Day Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
