Mrs. Meyer, 79, Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Lettie E. Meyer, 79, a resident of 407 Dechman avenue for 40 years, died at her home at 12:05 a.m. Sunday after an illness of about a year.

Mrs. Meyer was the widow of Henry C. Meyer, whom she married at Dunlap in 1891. He died here Dec. 23. 1948. She was born at Dunlap April 3, 1873, a daughter of John R. and Amanda Hatfield Harrison. She was a member of Hale Memorial church and held a life membership in the WSCS of the church.

Surviving are one son, Wallace Meyer of Dunlap; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Howard of Peoria; one sister, Mrs. Ella Sanks of Dunlap; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cumerford-Endsley memorial home, with the Rev. William Jones officiating. Burial will be in Prospect cemetery at Dunlap. Friends may call at the memorial home after 3 p.m. today.
