Jane Wilson daughter of Benammi and Clarissa Wilson
b. December 22, 1811, near a place called Maysville, Kentucky. In 1812 after her father returned from the army in 1812 they moved to Chillicothe, Ross co., Ohio. She m. 1st. Levi Baldwin, December 1, 1828 at Chillicothe, Ohio. The family then migrated to Jefferson co., Indiana, and seven children were born to this union. Levi Baldwin d. in 1849 at Madison, Jefferson co., Indiana and Jane m. 2nd., October 25, 1850 (Oct. 22, 1849), in Seymour, Indiana, George Stanfield, b. in Rollins co., North Carolina, October 18th 1805; the son of *Samuel and Grace (Stalker) Stanfield. George was m. 1st. 15 OCT 1840 in Jackson Township, Jackson County, Indiana, to Mary C. Shrewmaker – Issue Dinah, b. 1836 and Eliza Stanfield.

In 1872 they migrated first to Topeka, Kansas and finally settled at a place called ‘Valencia', a rural village on the Kaw River, fourteen miles from Topeka, near Lyndon, where he retired. George Stanfield d., November 4, 1886 in Valencia, Shawnee County, Kansas. Jane lived to be 101 years old; she d. February 13, 1913 in Topeka. Both are buried separately, in Topeka cemetery, however George's grave is not marked. Jane's grave has a bronze marker.
