b. March 23, 1826, [Adams Co.] Ohio, parents having migrated from Lewis co., Kentucky.  m. Sept. 13, 1845, Washington co., Indiana.  Elizabeth Gullett, b. 1827, Jackson co., Indiana.  The family was living near Quincy, Illinois in 1857.  Ebenezer traveled about the county in a covered wagon in a effort to improve his health.  At the time of the 1870 Federal census the family was living in Black Oak Twp., Mahaska co., Iowa. [p.o. Pella].  Later settling at Hopeville, near Murray, Clarke co., Iowa, on a farm.  In 1880 they were living at Sand Creek, Union Co., Iowa. Ebenezer d. around 1885 and place of burial is [said to be] a cemetery at Lorimor, n.e. cornor of Union co., Iowa.
