She was at Council Bluffs, Iowa or Omaha, Nebraska, in 1881, but by 1882 she was a resident at Greenville, Plumas co., California. She m. 3rd., October 22, 1891, John Reynolds Drury, a resident of Greenville, age 67, at Oroville, Butte co., California. She became the guardian of Walter Margrave Williams, her grandson, only issue of William H. H. Wiliams. Elizabeth also raised from a young girl, Edith Bell Howell, (b. 1877, Iowa) who was living with the family in Oakland and was the age of 18 years in September of, 1895.
Elizabeth and John R. were divorced in 1896 - John R. Drury died 2 Apr 1905.
Elizabeth Drury was living in 1895 at 528 18th St., Oakland, and others who signed some of her papers as witness were } Jennie M. Hall and Mrs. F. E. Greene both residence of Oakland, California in 1895, who state they have know Mrs. E. F. Drury for the past thirteen years. She is listed in the 1895 Oakland City Directory as running a rooming house at 525 18th St. and she had moved to Elmhurst in 1898. (Elmhurst was a suburb which was incorporated into Oakland c1909).
