Anna Barbara "Barbara" Hottel was the eldest daughter of John & Elisabetha Hottel. She was baptized December 10, 1713 in the Reformed Church of Alsheim bei Gronau in the Palatine area of Germany. In 1732, at age 19, she emigrated to America with her father, stepmother, and brothers, arriving at Port Philadelphia on September 11 in the ship "Pennsylvania Merchant".
Barbara married George Keller (1711-1782), son of Bastian Keller & Elisabeth Hildebrandt. George & Barbara had at least ten children: John Carl (died in childhood), George Keller II, Anna, John, Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary, Jacob, Henry, and Barbara.
