Mrs. Corina was born in Westerly, daughter of the late Paul and Bomina (Piezzo) Piccolo and had been employed as a weaver for George C. Moore Company until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Bradford. Helen was well known for her faith, love of family & friends, delicious food and was often called "meals on wheels", remembering her whole family's birth-dates and quick-witted personality. Even at 98 she would tell her jokes and would have everyone in stitches and was a wealth of knowledge.
She is survived by her daughter, Natalie B. Corina and son-in-law David Siney of Florida, favorite and loving grandson Michael Siney of Westerly, and her baby sister Julia Wilcox of Ashaway. She was predeceased by her loving son Frank Corina Jr., four brothers: Joseph Piccolo, Tomaso Piccolo and Anthony Piccolo of Westerly, and Thomas Piccolo of Pawcatuck; five sisters: Minnie Nadeau, Angelina Piccolo, Mary Aiello, Angeline Vita and Pauline Levcowich of Westerly.
Helen is now at peace and reunited with her Frank and Frankie along with her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 7 Church Street, Bradford on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
