Michael Emmett Son of Michael Dennis Jr & Mary Blanche Thompson Kaney.

Michael E. Kaney, 58, went to be with his heavenly Father God April 11, 1994. Michael did his undergraduate work at St. Bernard's in Cullman, AL and graduated from St. Mary's Seminary in Roland Park, MD and was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Charleston, SC on May 20, 1962 becoming active in founding schools for migrant workers. After taking a permanent leave of absence, his most recent employer, was The Halliburton Company in Houston TX.
He is preceded by his dad, Michael D Kaney Jr(MD).Survivors: Mother, Blanche T. Kaney, Aiken,SC, brothers, Gerald D. Kaney & wife Maggie, Patrick A. Kaney & wife Sandy, Chris Leo Kaney & wife Katherine, Timothy (Rack-o) K. Kaney, Matthew Dillon Kaney & wife, Vivian, Mark (Tank) X. Kaney. Sisters Lydia Kaney Moody, Marilyn Kaney Mazza, Bernadette Kaney Mahfet and Angela Kaney; nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends. Vigil: 7:30 pm. Wednesday, April 13, 1994, Eastman Downtown Chapel. Houston TX, Funeral Mass 1:00 pm Saturday April 16, 1994, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Aiken SC. Burial in Calvary Cemetery Aiken SC.
