Mr. Campbell was of the protestant faith and was a former member of the WV House of Delegates. He was also a charter member of Lewisburg Lions Club and Rupert Rotary Club, a member of Lewisburg Elks Lodge, and the Greenbrier County Historical Society. He was a retired state auditor with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mildred Smith Campbell; sister, Mildred Jones; and brother, Delvin Harrah.
