JOSEPHINE (JO) ANGELL MIDVALE-- Josephine Holt Angell, age 75, died April 28, 1995. Born December 26, 1919 in Enterprise, Washington County, Utah to Joseph Woodruff Holt and Mary Estella Adams. Married James C. Angell in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 24, 1941. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 17, 1966. Jim preceded her in death December 16, 1989. Jo worked in cosmotology off and on for 40 years, managing various salons throughout the country. She was a JC Penney Sales Associate for five years, but her main occupation was wife, mother and grandmother. She kept the home fires burning during Jim's service to the country during World War II and the Korean Conflict. The life of travel in support of her husband took her all over the country and the world. A faithful member of the LDS Church, her whole life she served the Lord well in all her many callings. Mom, "Gramm" we love you very much and we're going to miss you. Say Hi to Dad, "Gramps" and we'll see you later. Survivors, son, J. Doug (Janeen) Angell; daughter, Patti (Ron) Butterfield; grandchildren, Bret, Jason, Tracy, Andy, Brandon and Nickole; great- grandchildren, Nickolas, James Douglas (J. D.), Donovan, Gabby and Kayleen; brother, Alma (Bess) Holt; sisters, Nellie Moyle; Fay Barlocker; Marian (Wally) Slankard; Laverde Roberds; Maxine Greene; also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sweetheart and eternal partner, Jim; brothers, Joseph, Howard and Woodruff; and her sweet sister, Enid. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 1995 at 10:00 a.m. in the Midvale East First Ward, 240 East 7570 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Tuesday 7-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment, Holt Ranch Cemetery in Enterprise, Utah, Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT)Date: April 30, 1995
