---Frances Lee Roberts, 84, of Macon, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Loch Haven nursing Home in Macon.
---Frances was born on October 3, 1936, in Monroe City, MO, the daughter of Henry and Hazel (Utterback) Thompson. She was united in marriage to Cecil M. Roberts Jr. on April 2, 1955, in Hannibal, MO. Frances worked at Toastmasters from September of 1958 to August of 2000 working for forty-one years and eight months. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Frances enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinal’s Baseball, making her own greeting cards and spending time with her family.
---Frances is survived by one son, Danny Lee Roberts and his wife Carol of Macon, one son-in-law, Bob Techau of Callao, MO, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister, Shirley Mangelson and her husband Willard of Macon, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
---She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 28, 1992, one daughter, Vicki Techau, one grandson, Bobby Lee Techau, one infant brother, Gary Thompson and one sister, Jane Thornton.
---Graveside services will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery north of Macon. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 pm at the Crossroads Christian Church in Macon. The family suggests memorials to the Crossroads Christian Church, Central Christian College of the Bible, Tri-County Christian School or the Hla Thailand Mission. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
