REDKEY--Mrs. Meridith M. Cook, 76, died Wednesday in Jay County Hospital, Portland.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the Ladies Aid, the War Mothers, and the Meridian Street Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Wilma Lucas and Mrs. Janise Current, both of Redkey, Mrs. Phyllis McLaughlin, Muncie, and Mrs. Sue Pittenger, Albany; two sons, Melvin D. Cook, New Haven, and Obed Cook, Redkey; a half-sister, Mrs. Genevive Wilcox, Greenville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Jones Mortuary, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Saturday.
