Betty Myrlene Dean, 93, of Radcliff, KY, went home Friday, December 18, 2020 to be with the Lord and family that has been waiting for her. Betty was born June 30, 1927 in Rising Star, Texas to Wm. Otto and Agnes McCoy. That is where she met the love of her life, a handsome army soldier who swept her off her feet by the name of George Lee Dean II. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and a good friend to many who knew her. She liked the simple things in life, old movies, playing cards, reading, and loved listening to music. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Capt. George L. Dean II; her parents, Wm Otto McCoy and Agnes L. Dees; brothers, Wm John, Lawrence, and Charles McCoy and a sister, Evelyn Fontenot. She is survived by her two sons, a daughter, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, many nephews and nieces, and friends! Thank you for your love and memories, you will forever be in our hearts. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff, KY. Burial will follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
