Charles Glen Koon , 76, passed away on November 21, 2020 in Gainesville, FL. Charles was born November 14, 1944 in Lake City, Florida to Thomas Jackson' T.J.' Koon and Sallie Lou Broughton Koon.

Charles was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Airline Baptist Church. Charles worked as a Dairy Farmer and Barber for over 58 years. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, and spending time at his hunting camp and making cane syrup with his family and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Jackson 'T.J.' Koon and Sallie Lou Broughton Koon.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years Patricia Koon; 2 sons, Donald Glen Koon, and Charles Dwayne Koon, 2 daughters, Ann Toole (Jimmy),and Donna Sue Kirby (John Paul). 2 brothers Howell Koon (Jackie) and Bobby Koon (Melody) 2 sisters Sandra Koon and Lynn Koon (Carl Connell) 8 grandchildren: Mallory Koon, Kayla Russ, Harley Russ, Cheyenne Pittman, Austin Moody, Christian Moody, Cecelia Koon, Haley Koon; two great grandchildren Paisley Chase, and Zayne Hutchins.as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice or to the Airline Baptist Church Building fund.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Airline Cemetery with Rev. Preston Gainey and Rev. Fred Edwards officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Mayo.
