Gordon was a bread truck driver. He drove trucks for Conrad Bakery, Tip-Top Bakery and Butternut Bakery. He was a member of the United Church of Morocco and American Legion Post 146. When he was younger, he loved to play golf. Gordon was a huge sports fan and enjoyed reading, listening to music and watching movies.
His family was what Gordon cherished most in life. He loved spending time with them and always did his best to attend his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events and extracurricular activities. He was a very selfless man and would do whatever he could to help others.
He is survived by two children; one sister; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, Gary and James; and one sister, Marilyn.
Private graveside services with military honors will be held at Oakland Cemetery on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 with Pastor Patrick Gutwein officiating.
