Edgar Reeves, born 1875, ruptured an artery jumping in a ditch, and death resulted, April 26, 1883.

Killed by the Cars.
A message was received here Monday stating that George Reeves, was killed by the cars in a tunnel near Winslow. No particulars were given.
This family seems fated. Four or five years ago one of the boys, [Edgar Reeves], quite small, ruptured an artery in jumping a ditch and death resulted.
Another brother Needham had a leg broken in the Cooley mines, and William, the other brother was killed by a blast in the Webb mines and now George or "Buck" as he was commonly called meets a violent death by the cars.
