Emma died in the Black Jack Community. She was the daughter of John Simpson and Elizabeth William. She married Archibald Hunt, 2 September 1852, DeKalb Co., Tennessee. Husband Archibald went to visit family in Illinois and died there. Burial place unknown. They were the parents of 10 children: Mary Ellen, Elizabeth A., William Rastus, Nancy A, Archibald "Arch", James M. "Jim", Tennessee, Vinson Columbus, Texanna, and John Hunt. John, born and died about 1880, we do not know where he is buried.
