"STREATOR - Peter P. Harcharik, 76, of 818 Bazore St., a resident of Streator most of his life, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 14, 1985) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator, after a four-month illness. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Church, Streator. Burial will be In St. Casimer's Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Mr. Harcharik was born May 29, 1908, in Streator, a son of Andrew and Susan Lucas Harcharik. He married Josephine Sanders, who preceded him in death. He married Sylvia Allison June 19, 1954, In Coal City. She survives. Other survivors Include a daughter, Jean Snyder, Maumee, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Gerri Angelos, Bloomington; two brothers, John and Ervin, both of Streator; three sisters, Helen Liston, Horseheads, N.Y.; Mary Ann Neu, Streator; and Frances Volker, Wenona; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Harcharik was employed for 35 years at Owens-Illinois Inc., retiring in 1973. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church."
