He was the son of Andrew and Susan (Lucas) Harcharik. He married Mary Holohan on Jan. 19, 1945 in Streator. She passed away in 1991.
He is survived by his children: Joanne (Ralph) Eggers, Sandy (Howard) Headden, John (Sandy) Harcharik and David (Kim) Harcharik. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Ann Neu.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter, Patricia.
