Katherine I. Beghtol, 79, Casa Grande, Arizona, formerly of Galesburg, Illinois, died Wednesday (January 1, 1997) in Arizona Medical Center, Florence, Arizona.
She was born April 11, 1917, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Allen and Birdie Tenk Herrington.
She married Edwin Beghtol in 1936.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Kivi Hoy, Sherman Oaks, California; and one brother, Allen Herrington, San Pedros, Calif. She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, and two sisters.
She worked at Midwest Photo in Galesburg for a number of years, and retired from the former Galesburg State Research Hospital.
Cremation rites are pending. Burial will be later.
