Funeral services will be held privately for Ms. Roma Josephine Lazard, 82, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System.
Ms. Lazard is survived by nine daughters, Nora Jane Lazard (Charles) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Adeline Berro (Gene) of Opelousas, LA, Louise Guidry of Carencro, LA, Emily Henry (Patrick) of Sunset, LA, Margaret Charles (Gerard) of Opelousas, LA, Stephanie Charles (David) of Arnaudville, LA, Paula Lazard of Opelousas, LA, Mary Rollins (James) of Opelousas, LA and Juanita Carter (Ernest) of Cecilia, LA; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ms. Lazard was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilbert Lazard, Sr.; parents, Simon & Bertha Fuselier; a son, Joseph Wilbert Lazard, Jr. and a grandson, Jermaine Joseph Lazard.
