He is survived by his wife Susan Life Early, daughter, Cindy Early Mueller (BJ VaanderMeer) of Gainesville, FL, son, Dr. Todd F. Early (Tammi), of Greensboro, NC, step daughters, Kara Bare (Tim) of Harrisonburg, Tracy Morris of Roanoke, sister, Dorothy Long of McGaheysville, grandchildren, Meagan Cockfield (Walt) of Columbia SC, Hunter Early of Atlanta, GA, Caroline Early of Greenville, NC and step grandson, TJ Rohrbaugh of Roanoke.
Robert (Bob) was born in Broadway, served in the U. S. Army, was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, and a Master Mason, Lodge No. 27. He was owner and manager of several successful companies during his career, most notably Arrow Supply Company of Charlotte, NC and VIP Scooters of Harrisonburg. Bob lived life to the fullest, loved music, was an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time with his family.
There will be a private graveside service.
