Harold J. Spencer, 84, of 305 Oak St. died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville.
Born Dec. 23, 1916, in Williamsfield to Harrison and Mary Leng Spencer, he married Katherine ''Kate'' Hickman on Nov. 28, 1941, in Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Kathy Smith of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
He farmed in the Williamsfield area; worked at the Williamfield co-op; and later worked at Wight Chevrolet.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg.
