Williamsfield, IL - William A. Spencer, 86, of Novelty, Mo., formerly of Williamsfield, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1992, at LaBelle Manor Care Center in LaBelle, Mo.

Born April 27, 1906, in Williamsfield to Harrison H. and Mary Leng Spencer, he married Oletha Annette Squires on Jan. 20, 1928, in Galesburg. She died Oct. 28, 1979.

Two sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter also preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sons, William E. of Williamsfield, James H. of Peoria and Stanley R. of Newark, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Patricia) Carlson and Mrs. Raymond (Judith) Rhoades, all of Novelty; two sisters, Altha Tucker and Vera Stodgel, and one brother, Harold, all of Williamsfield; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was a farmer.

Graveside services will be at Williamsfield Cemetery.
