—Remains Will be Brought Here for Burial
Anna W., wife of L. F. Smith, of this city, died this morning in the insane asylum at Ossawatomie, Kans. She was 48 years of age and leaves a husband and half-brother, L. F. Smith and C. L. Sawyer who reside in Galena and two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Stephens, of Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. G. E. Lowdermilk, of Fayetteville, Ark.
Deceased has resided in Galena for the past twenty years until about a year ago when she was judged insane and sent to the insane asylum at Ossawatomie, Kans. Previous to her removal to that institution she was proprietress of the Woman’s exchange on East Third street and had a large acquaintance of friends in this city.
The remains will be brought to Galena for burial, but no definite arrangements can be made for the funeral until the body arrives.

The funeral of Mrs. L. F. Smith, who died at Ossawatomie, Kans., yesterday morning, will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon from St. Mary’s Episcopal church in this city. Interment will be made in the Galena cemetery.
