Death of Mrs. Adkins.

Mrs. Sophia Adkins
, aged 56 years, died at 7:40 this morning at her home in Baker Diggin's. Mrs. Adkins' death was caused by dropsy and she had been sick about a year. She leaves five children, three boys and two girls. Funeral services were held from the family residence at 5:30 this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Gurrley, of the Baptist church. Burial was made in the Galena cemetery.
