Laura Reeves, 83, daughter of the late Edward Scrivan Fishman and Isabel Fishman, was born June 6, 1921, in Branchville, South Carolina. She died on Wednesday, October 24, 2004, in Willingboro, New Jersey.

Laura was a homemakeer and resided in the Trenton area for more than 40 years. She was a former member and Mother of the Church at Bowman Temple, COGIC in Branchville, South Carolina, at the Fire Baptized Church of Trenton.

Predeceased by two sons, Raymond and Jeremiah Reeves, she is survived by her husband, Willie Reeves, Sr.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Frances Smith (Robert) of Ewing, Betty Simmons (Edward) of Gary, Indiana, Laura Williams (Brian) of Willingboro, and Georgiana Ross of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; two sons and daughters-in-law, Willie Reeves, Jr. (Hattie) of Branchville, South Carolinaa and Eugene Reeves (Alyn) Schull in County Cork, Ireland; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Reeves of Bristol, Pa.; 33 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren, and a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, and friends throughout the United States.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 13, at 12:00 pm at 300 N Willow Street in Trenton. Calling hours from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Officiating will be Elder Anthony Fullard, Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple, Hampton, Va.

Interment will be at the Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
