Ralph Thomas Reynolds, 76, lifelong resident of Provo, passed away at his home on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Ralph was born December 31, 1943, in Provo, Utah, to Thomas Vernon Reynolds and Lucy Ruth Shelley.

From the time he was young, he enjoyed retail sales. Ralph was a true entrepreneur. Beginning as a teenager, he purchased large sheets of leather, had friends stand on them while he traced the outline of their feet, and created custom made sandals for them. He later founded Import Specialties on University Avenue and finished his career as the owner of Auto Specialties.

He took a special liking to cars, cats, and caring for his friends and customers at Auto Specialties. He often remarked how blessed he was to have so many wonderful people in his life. An exceptionally hard worker, Ralph fostered friendships that spanned the years. People knew he was a kind man with a very caring heart.

He is survived by his sisters Carla (Jim) Wind (Taylorsville) and Marilyn Reynolds (Provo), brother Wayne (Shirley) Reynolds (Orem), and a half-brother Len Reynolds (Kingman, Arizona).

He was preceded in death by his parents, along with a half-brother Thomas Vernon Reynolds Jr., and a half-sister Reta Reynolds Hall.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 19 at the Historic Springville City Cemetery, 200 West 400 South, Springville, Utah.

Those attending are asked to wear a mask and to practice safe social distancing. To express condolences and to view the service the following day, please go to www.bergmortuary.com.
