Marvin H. Ratzlaff, 81 of Henderson, NE died Monday, July 05, 2004 in Henderson. He was born October 15, 1922 near Henderson to Henry J. and Anna (Janzen) Ratzlaff. Marvin was a 1942 graduate of Henderson High School and married Edna Friesen on June 19, 1945 in Henderson. He was a longtime Henderson area farmer before retirement. Edna died in June of 2000. Marvin was a member of Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph (Glenell) Ratzlaff and Philip (Theresa) Ratzlaff both of Henderson; one daughter, Mary (Terry) Havenridge of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, Caitlin, Tyler and Brittany Ratzlaff, Stephen, Rachel and Elizabeth Havenridge; sisters, Elva (Sam) Quiring of Kansas, Zella Hubert, Alvina (L.G.) Devolt, Leanna (Levi) Peters and Violet Ratzlaff all of Henderson. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, one brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson with burial in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Henderson Care Center.
