Mr Detrich was born Jan. 21,1891 in Chambersburg, son of the late George Washington and Mary Trough Detrich. He was a member of First Church of God and the Sons and Daughters of Liberty. For a number of years he was employed as a bellboy at the former Hotel Washington. His wife, Rhoda May Eshelman Detrich, died Sept. 11,1950.
Surviving are a brother and two sisters; Stuart Detrich, Hagerstown,MD;Mrs. Rose Crider, New Cumberland, and Mrs. Roberta Randall, St Petersburg,Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the John O. Park Funeral Home,conducted by the Rev. Clarence E. Bailey. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service Wednesday.
