Arrangements have been completed for the funeral service for Earl K. Detrich,78,36 S.Franklin St., who died at 8:45 Wednesday morning in Chambersburg Hospital after a four-month illness.
Service will be held at 2 p.m.,Saturday in the JohnO. ParkFuneral Home,conducted by the Rev. John Lenhardt. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9p.m. Friday.
Mr. Detrich, the son of the late George W. and Mary Trough Detrich, was born Sept. 23, 1892, in Guilford Twonship. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the George Hull Bible Class. He retired Jan. 10,1958, from T. B. Wood's Sons Co., where he had been employed for 34 years.
Surviving are his widow,Mrs. Ethel Mae Jones Detrich; two daughters; Mrs. Glenn (Marie) George, 38 S. Franklin St; Mrs. Harold (Gail) Geyer, Star Rte.,Shippensburg; five grand children and thre great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers;Mrs. Walter Crider and Mrs. Clarence Randall, both of Etters;Harry Detrich,Chambersburg and Stewart,Hagerstown. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
