Mrs. Cynthia Detrich Yeager,70, of 148 Black Ave.,died Thu4rsday at 4:40p.m. at the Chambersburg Hospital after a long illness.
Born on June 11,1896,in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary V. Trough Detrich.
Mrs. Yeager was a member of the James A Garfield Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, and attended the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by , her husband, Russel Yeager, on Jan. 13,1954.
Surviving are thre daughters, Mrs. Alice Garner, 148 Black Ave, Mrs. Dewey V. Hawk, 401 E. Washington St., and Mrs. Clarence Stoner,R. R. 2;six brothers and sisters, Harry T Detrich, 149 Kennedy St.,Earl K Detrich, 36 S. Franklin St.,Steward C Detrich,72 S.Main St.,Mrs. Andrew Cool,149 Kennedy St/,Mrs. Walter Crider Sr.,Etters, and Mrs. C. K.. Randall,New Cumberland;six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m.,Sunday at the Barbour funeral home with Capt. Ronald R. Foreman officiating. Burial will be made in Lincoln Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 7 to 9p.m.
