"Died in Dansville, Aug. 7th, 1887, Lizzie B. Ginley, aged 40 years, 8 months and 2 days. The deceased was the daughter of Owen Ginley and her death took place at his residence on Adams Street just after the sun rose on Sunday morning, her imprisoned soul , like the orb of the day, seeming to burst from its environment and spring into light with an effulgence which earthly ones cannot comprehend. For fifteen years she had been subject to epileptic fits and the life that otherwise might have brightened into usefulness here on earth was clouded and hindered in its mission, still there were many days that were bright and it was then that she showed the noble nature she possessed. In her last sickness, she was ministered to by her only sister, Mrs. Mary Mannin, and nothing was left undone for her comfort that love and affection could suggest."
