Michael Dean Jones passed away on June 29, 2013 after a long debilitating illness. He was born January 18, 1943 to Nan and Walden Jones, thirty minutes before his identical twin Marlon Don Jones. If our eyes could pierce the veil we would see a joyous reunion as Mike joins his

twin and his twin's son Darwin, his older brother Carl and Carl's son Paul, a sister who he was anxious to meet that died before he was born, his parents and his wife's parents, along with other family and friends. Mike married Karen Eades in the Manti, Utah LDS temple on March 2, 1963. Together they have raised 6 children; Cindy (William) Jones, Tori (Scott) Dimond, Naaman (Jodi) Jones, Denise (Steve) Wagaman, Dar- lene (Dave) Chapman, and Aaron Jones.

Mike worked for Utah Transit Authority full time until his retirement. He also worked part time jobs that he enjoyed which included Salt Lake City School District for over 25 years, Larkin Mortuary for over 20 years and Utah Valley Sports Association as an umpire and a referee for many years.

Mike is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings within the church which included Bishop of the Sugarhouse Ward, Bishop of the Roosevelt Singles Ward, Home Teacher, a member of the High Council in the Sugar- house Stake, Priesthood Advisor at the Hillside Villa Care Center, Counselor to two Bishops, Executive Secretary to the Bishop, Young Men's President, High Priest Group leader, Sunday School teacher, Young Men-Young Women's dance director, Church Sports director and Nursery Leader. He also served as a Chaplain for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Depart- ment.

He is the Grandfather of 18 children and Great Grand- father of 2 children, all of whom he loves. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed people

and was a friend to many. He also had a soft spot in his heart for all of God's creations.

Mike's family would like to give our love and ap- preciation to Cara Mickelsen, his angel, and a special thank you to CNS Hospice.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter West Stake Center, 2700 South 6400 West. Family and friends may visit Tues- day evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Wednesday from 9:30- 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the stake center.

There's just one thing left to say . . . How much we're going to miss you!
