Zack L. Teagle
Zack Lee Teagle, 81, a retired carpenter, of 112 Kendall Drive, Newport News, died Friday in Riverside Hospital. A native of Gloucester County, he had lived on the Peninsula for the past 19 years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gladys Dunston Teagle, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Slatterfield of Newport News; four sons, Fred L. Teagle of Virginia Beach, Raymond Teagle, Ellis Teagle and Richard Teagle of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. R. H. Marble of Gloucester; and two brothers, Jack Teagle and Henry Teagle of Gloucester; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bellamy Methodist Church, Gloucester. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Bridges Funeral Home, Gloucester. The family will be at 112 Kendall Drive, Newport News.
