Sarah Emmaline Staley, 85, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on September 12, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Kempton. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Frankfort, IN to Irwin A. and Edna V. (Reed) Payne. She married William C. Staley on November 12, 1994; he passed away on December 9, 1998.

Sarah retired in 1998 from Mallory’s after 35 years of service. She enjoyed her daily devotions but also reading in general, crocheting and crafting, socializing by going out to eat and shop, and participating with the "silver sneakers” at the YMCA.

Sarah is survived by two children; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert James Walker Jr; daughter, Linda Lou Staley; five brothers - Don, Doug, Dave, Bill and Bud; and four sisters - Charlene Birden, Roberta Ray, Maxine Pence and Inez Pence.

There will be a private family service, with entombment, at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
