Lillian A. Baugher
Lillian Adeline Baugher, 81, of Elkton, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Baugher was born May 1, 1923, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Osby Franklin and Lilly Virginia Dean Herring. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elkton Evangelical United Methodist Church. She was also active in the AARP and the Elkton Senior Citizens.
On July 3, 1940, she married Miller Baugher, who preceded her in death Feb. 8, 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Wanda B. Beck of Lexington, N.C., and Brenda B. Kite of Elkton, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Alda Gunn conducted the funeral Saturday at the Elkton Evangelical United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Elk Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Steve and Brenda Kite at any time.
