Tabitha Adams DuVal (c1834-) married John J.R.J. Byrne(s)(Burn(s)) (c1833-), of Hopkins County, Ky. Their children were John (1854-), Sarah (c1862-) and Charles Byrne (c1964-). John Byrne (1854-) married in 1872, Susan Frances "Fannie" Sisk (1854-1927) and lived in Hopkins County. Five children were Katie (1874-1964), Lucius (1879-), Charles (1880-1920), Sam (1888-1920), and Ann Byrne (1896-). Sarah Byrne (c1862-) married John Bruce (c1847-) and lived in Hopkins County. Their sons were Charles and Walter Bruce.

Tabitha Adams Duval's father was Lucius Claiborne DuVal (1789-1845), third son of Maj. Claiborne (1760-1824) and Elizabeth Pope DuVal (1760-1815), who was born May 22, 1789, at "Lombardy," Hanover County, Va. He was a farm owner near Morganfield, Ky. He married in 1818, Tabitha Adams Russell (1796-1862), daughter of John Coates (1769-1822) and Anne Clay Russell (1771-1817), of Morganfield. Their eleven children were John Russell (c1819-79), Mary Ann (1821-75), Eliza P. (d.inf), Lucius C. (c1825-), Martha L. (1827-50), William H.C. (1829-) who lived in Morey Flat, Cal., Samuel Claude (1832-1900), Tabitha Adams (c1834-), Charles T. (1836-1906), and Edwin Robert (d.inf).

Mary Ann DuVal (1821-75) married in 1843, Robert Emmet Rowley (1814-81), son of Major and Alysha Skinner Rowley, of Union County, Ky. He served in the 47th Virginia Infantry during the Civil War, and they lived in Morganfield, Ky. Their five children were Robert Lucius (1848-1919); Dr. James Alexander (1850-1912); Martha Laverna (1857); William Jeff Davis (1861-post1910) who married c1893, Nellie G. (c1870-) and lived in NYC; and Edmond Lee Rowley (1864-93).

Lucius C. DuVal (c1825-) married Miss Rowley, of Union County. Their son, John DuVal, married a Miss McBride and moved to Henderson, Ky.

Charles T. DuVal (1836-1906) lived in Grass Valley, Cal. He married Melinda J. Bruton (1838-1903). Their children were Anne (1864-92) and Charles Lucius DuVal (1866-).

Lucius Claiborne DuVal died October 9, 1845. His wife, Tabitha Adams Russell, died October 24, 1862. They are buried in the Antioch Cemetery, Morganfield, Ky.
