Robert Leo Ellison, age 97, of LaGrange, Mo. died Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Il.
Robert was born April 25, 1910 at St. Patrick, Mo. a son of George Wm. and Lucy Simpson Ellison. He married Ethel V. Lewellen May 8, 1932 in St. Patrick. She died January 29, 2003.

Robert served his country during W.W. II in the U. S. Navy and was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in LaGrange, and Otto Bruner Post #170 of the American Legion in Canton, Mo.

Robert is survived by two sisters-in-law Doris and Dorothy Ellison both of Canton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers Gene, Paul, George, Howard, and Harold Ellison, and six sisters Mary and Ruby Ellison, Hilda Logsdon, Louise Solter, Helen Stephens, and Muriel Kolthoff.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday July 23, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Notre Dame Catholic Church in LaGrange with Father Richard Frank officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. Monday, one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in LaGrange. Military honors will be by Otto Bruner Post #170 of the American Legion of Canton, Mo.
