Lester was born in Dallas, WI to Hannah and Emil Larson. He served his country in the US Army. He was the leader of the band, "Les and the Polka Jacs."
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Karen; and children, Ronald Larson, Sharon (Michael) Heintz, and Michael (Elizabeth) Larson; grand- children, Scott (Nikki) Heintz, Steven (Ellie) Heintz, Staci (Michael) Ajdari, Cody Larson, Kallie (Brandon) Tomlyanovich, and Corey Larson; great- grandchildren, Aubrey Kent, Brody Kent, Hudson Heintz, Pierceson Heintz; Kadin Ajdari and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Charley Heintz.
He will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, WI in a private burial."
