WARREN – Charley Baker, 92, a for-mer resident of Van Buren Township in Grant County, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday at Marion General Hospital where he had been a patient.
For the last year, Mr. Baker had re-sided with a nephew, Earl S. Brubaker, in Logansport.
Born in Van Buren Township, he spent most of his life in that communi-ty. Mr. Baker was a retired farmer, and was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Antioch Church near Landess, and burial will be in the Tinkle Cemetery, south of Landess. The Rev. Harley Rush will officiate.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. tomor-row and friends may call there.
