Desire married Moses Edwards as his 1st wife. She died young, at 27. By that time they had had 11 children. These children were: a. Asher [1776], Rachel [1777], Enoch [1778], Uzal [1781], Joshua [1783], Abner [1785], Caleb [1786], Rebecca [1788], David [1789], Jonathan [1791], & Mariah [1793]. Moses married twice more & had further children. Desire's obit may be found in the earliest record book of The Northfield Baptist Church, Livingston, Essex Co., NJ
